I was watching Mississippi Burning on HBO this weekend for the umpteenth time. There is a scene where a trial is going on for four men who beat a black man, and the entire balcony is filled with black people.
The judge charges the men with 5 years in prison, and then immediately suspends the sentence saying that their actions were caused by outside influences.
The camera shows the befuddled faces of the blacks after they've been screwed again by the justice system.
That's how I feel today.

Permanent government protects itself. There is no legit oversight for the FBI and DOJ.
Even congressmen and senators seem scared as hell when it comes to our permanent government. Even Schumer publicly stated that it's to be expected for the permanent government to go after someone, if that someone says something bad about the permanent government.
