They would have left their posts and stayed quiet.
Why do they feel the need to constantly stay in the media calling Trump a traitor? Why is it their place to do so? Do they have no faith in Mueller? Do they have no faith in Congress? They are doing FAR more harm than good to the country.
The only explanation is this isn't about Trump. It's about keeping the details of their crimes from going public.

If they cared about America, they wouldn't have been the head of 3 organizations whose actions regularly go against everything America is supposed to stand for, especially the CIA and NSA.

Literally anyone else would be given the courtesy of being presumed innocent prior to a jury trial. Somehow these model Americans conveniently forget that facet of our justice system when having to chose loyalty between their homeland and their swampland.

They are normalizing Language ( traitor ! Treason! Military coup! ) that has been forbidden in American history ( Civil War excluded ) in order to make the Action that they are conspiring to take on a duly elected President, more palatable with as many people as possible. Concern for America is not part of their decision logic. This is about CYA , arrogance , treachery and hubris.
