re: If 1/6 was an “insurrection”, why wasn’t the 2011 storming of Madison WI by union goons?

Was your beloved BLM Communist rampage last summer an insurrection? You keep avoiding answering this question, cuck!

No, they didn’t challenge the monopoly of power of the centralized government and put sitting members of Congress in danger.
But I wouldn’t have shed a tear if a US Marshal smoked the first Ashley Babbitt ANTIFA goon to breach the doorway of the federal courthouse in Portland.
Find you some principles and stand by them.

You think boosie knows that one of the conspirators in the 1983 Senate bombing (what an actual insurrection looks like) had her 58 year sentence commuted by Bill Clinton and then became a vice-chairwoman of Thousand Currents, which was a fundraising arm of BLM?

Then tell me why the LA riots and numerous other riots throughout US history have necessitated the invocation of the insurrection act!
I’ll give you time to pursue one of your far-left lunatic sites you get your talking points from to formulate an answer.

I actually did know that. I was in 4th grade when he did it. Needless to say, I’ve never voted for Bill Clinton and I’d suggest you don’t either!

boosiecuck is melting all over the board because she wanted to keep Muh insurrection talking points going into next year’s election. She knows dems are going to get mopped across the floor if they have to run on their record.

Rote recitation of the Insurrection Act of 1807 does neither one of us any good.
Are you arguing Donald Trump should have invoked the Act on January 6th and his failure to do so suggests something different?
Or are you arguing his failure to do so in the summer of 2020 speaks to the reality of the threat at the time?

No, moron. The insurrection act if very specific, that’s why it’s actually been invoked on numerous occasions for deadly riots throughout US history.
Of course you’d know all of this if you weren’t 25 years old and lacking in basic American history. You already conceded you were a punk kid when slick pardoned the terrorist who bombed the Capitol.
Instead of making yourself out to be an idiot all over this board, why don’t you actually study some history?

Boos, I see you're making the effort to have a consistent position, but I just think you're taking the wrong position. There would be no two situations that are completely alike, that would both demand the exact same approach. Waay too nuanced. To me it's simple: police use of deadly force is ONLY justified in the case that the officer or someone else within his immediate area of view is clearly at IMMINENT risk of DEATH OR GREAT BODILY HARM. Imminent. You won't honestly attempt to make the argument that Babbitt posed that officer IMMINENT RISK OF DEATH OR GREAT BODILY HARM, would you?? Using the most strict interpretation of each of those pivotal terms and words......

Talk to LSU about my history and political science degrees.
But more to the point, what does the insurrection act have to do with the riots in the summer or January 6th. I can spit our random laws just as good as the next guy, but you’ve yet to tell us why the Insurrection Act is germane to the ANTIFA riots or The Ron Watkins Insurrectionary Riot of January 6th

Since we’re talking nuance, let’s talk federal officers charged with protecting federal VIPs. It’s a different RoE.
If me and 300 of my best friends breach a perimeter at an airport to charge the President, I don’t have problem with the secret service using live rounds to sober us up and protect the VIP.

You should ask for a refund on your history degree since apparently they didn’t cover anything from 2000 and prior.
That said, you should square your own inconsistencies on insurrection , and apparent lack of historical knowledge, before demanding I answer the questions you should already know.

CHOP or whatever it was called sure seemed insurrectiony and revolty to me. I believe one of the key components of an outright case of insurrection is indeed revolt, which itself requires the overt renunciation of allegiance to the U.S. government (and by extension, Constitution). The CHOP thing seemed closest to that strict interpretation of "insurrection" and "revolt" than anything else seen thus far. They literally declared themselves no longer under the control of the U.S. government. And it was an organized effort.

She just argued that last summer’s riots weren’t an insurrection, even though the insurrection act has been invoked throughout US history for riots.
She has a history degree from LSU too, ask her professors how smart she is.

You should square up your comma splices and general coherency of your argument before we go any further with this tap dance.
