I don't think he was maliciously evil, either, but he was definitely cravenly manipulative.

And his handling of Truman was one of the most asinine and selfish examples of hubris in history. The man didn't even know about the atomic bomb project when we was sworn in.

I'll never understand why VP's are not more a part of the team in an administration. They should be chosen with that in mind, IMHO.

Sure, Kamala is the poster case for why you do keep them in the dark, but it's not like she's some outlier in that shite show.
