No..to them it's all about identity politics, refugees they will never see in their neighborhood, abortion on demand and Ann Romney's horse

Sorry for the hackjob quoting, but no they don not see yet. They still don't get it that

You can never guarantee that those in charge will have your interests in mind... ever.
They honestly believe that they have the moral high ground 100% of the time and everyone either does or should agree with them. That's part of the liberal psychosis

They only see the R by a candidates name. If Obama would have run as a republican, they would have buried him.

Yep...the left and Obama beat the crap out of the right and the American people with the big stick of government for 8 long years.......
.....now those pussies are crying about having their asses whipped by the same stick.
Quite satisfying.

Did it awaken the Right yet?
That either side claims to trumpet the cause of small government is laughable.

this is my one hope with this admin and why i keep trolling my liberal friends on FB
the issue isn't who wields the power, as they like to argue, it's the power itself

There was a reporter (forgot which network) that went out and trolled the protesters this weekend during the supposed "Muslim Ban" (until the left changed the name again).
Anyway, he had a group of leftist retards around him asking them questions about the ban, and what they knew. Naturally none of them had a clue. So then he starts pointing out that Obama did similar things, and asked if any of the retards could name the situation.
One retard spoke up and actually got the question right. So the reporter asked her "Well if you know Obama did this, why are you pissed at Trump?"
Her VERY HONEST response?
"But I loved Obama, so it didn't matter."
Yup. That is what we are dealing with.

They love big government until they don't.

This is disingenuous. Many of us believe in making government smaller. Many more on the left publicly endorse the expansion of government. Bernie sanders is an open socialist for goodness sakes.
As a liberal, have you considered this issue further? Do you acknowledge that government size is big source of this nation's problems?
Believing in making government smaller, then making it larger, is way more disingenuous than at least saying you wanting it bigger then making it so.
I get that the "let's call him a liberal because that will nullify his argument" stance is popular here, but I'm not liberal. I'm Libertarian - the ACTUAL small government party.

IMHO, there wasn't a legitimate candidate on the ticket, period. I agree with you, though, that a stronger Libertarian candidate than the facepalm-inducing Johnson was could have led to some serious strides for the party.

As a libertarian, what do you make of the federal hiring freeze
Complete agreement with it.

Plus 1 Minus 2 regulation EO
Like it, though curious as to exactly how it will be enforced. Also curious if a good regulation (like, for example, one that requires all Federal Employees to justify expenditures) will not make it because there's not two that the organization is willing to remove.
Also curious to see if he will already have sufficient manpower to enforce that EO, or if we are creating a whole new arm of government just to enforce it.
I like the idea, but I'm waiting to see if it is more than just lip service.

They are the same people as religious zealots of the past. Now that the Church is no longer the dominant moral authority in our society, they switched to the church of government with the same ferocious zeal. This type of person has always existed and has always been the problem.
Which makes so little sense because Leftists are typically amoral.
