Would Rage Against the Machine be for or against a government shutdown in 2025?

Sitting at Bahia Honda beach right now listening to waves and shore birds.
Pretty damn relaxing for shutdown day.

Not only that. If you aren't immediately impacted by it then there must be no consequences possible.

Well, what are they?

I think fedgov should be 99 percent smaller, so there are extremely few consequences I’m concerned about.

required to work without pay:

- active duty miltary
- tsa agents / air traffic controllers
- border patrol / ice
- all federal law enforcement
- prison employees and officers
- irs (the thieves of course)
- postal service

everybody else is cooling at the hacienda.

Most of those jobs shouldn’t exist in the first place, so IDGAF.

They are part of the problem.

But none of them will miss a dime and you know it. Perhaps a delayed paycheck or two.

They all know this is a possibility when they take the job.
