Lighten up Francis. Your misery isn’t productive. Did you actually read Atlas Shrugged?

Yes, I did. All three horrible movies, back-to-back. BTW, I'm not miserable at all. I just do not trust anything that the left, progressives, or whatever you are are dealing.

BTW, read Atlas Shrugged too. Still an average *novel*.

Read or watch? Never saw the movie(s) but can’t imagine they compare to the book.

Great!

Well... believe it or not, you can read Marx without becoming a Marxist. If you’re solid in your character, it will only affirm your ideals. And helps to understand why other believe backwards ideas like socialism.

That said you should read Marx. He was right about a lot of things. He peg the social-economic-political cycle perfectly. But, yeah he was wrong about many more.Treat it like a buffet. HINT: you should do the same with Rand.

I read that and then I thought "blah, blah, blah. something about Marx is interesting, something about Engels is illuminating,... blah". Then I thought 'let's just remove all communists from society and go back to a great world that is full of opportunity :-) and eliminate the communist shitheads.

This time the only thing that needs to be different is that the good guys need to do the unthinkable first. That is all.

If thst what you took from thst... ok? Sun Tzu would tell you knowing your enemy is as important as knowing yourself.

If you read Marx you’d know why this is not only a bad idea, it is not possible.

Ideas don’t die unless a governing body deems it so like in 1984. It’s the ability to deconstruct and successfully attack an idea so as to change the minds influenced by it that are important for the prosperity that we seek.

He’s gonna hate this... but he needs to read Mao if he wants to lean how to conduct a cultural war.

Blah, blah, Marx! frick EVERYTHING about his ideology. He's dead, his ideas will soon be dead, and his followers and admirers should all be actively shamed as being traders against freedom and liberty.

Some things are not acceptable or compatible with being a citizen in the US. Being a communist is one of those things.

Judging by his posts I think he does. Old dictator meet new dictator.

Yeah. Not a single person in this thread has suggested that.

You’re boring.

You an apologist for terrible ideologies. You are hiding behind a pragmatic *balance* but you are too open to terrible ideas to be taken seriously. I can't think of anything more boring than bad ideas left unchecked. It almost sounds like Marx...

I've never read the book but I like The Fountain Head movie with Gary Cooper. Especially the court room speech.

Anyone afraid to read and try to understand an opposing ideology must not be very confident in the merits of his own.

I'm shocked that Aggie Hank is here with a commie hot take. Shocked I say!

It’s not often I agree with Hank, but he’s right. If you’re too weak-minded to read the opposite of your viewpoint then your convictions must not be that strong to begin with.

Also, you never answered TA’s question: did you read or watch Atlas Shrugged?

Both. And you are both fake bureaucrats. It is obvious that you are both here with an agenda. Read Marx and Engels? Really lol? I look forward to when we get to round up people for the camps.

Only “commies” have the sense to try and understand the opposition?

OK

Do you ever wonder why I think so many of the Far Right posters are mindless buffoons? This “stickly” guy is the poster-boy.

I’ve read Marx and other assorted pinko garbage. It’s interesting on an academic level.
