Based on all I’ve read pretty much anywhere, he is an honorable, honest and upstanding guy. Even though he’s got some views that are farther to the right than a lot of folks, I think when you consider that probably 99.9 percent of the people in Washington aren’t honorable or honest , I think folks would vote for him.
I just think he comes across as someone people wouldn’t mind voting for even though his beliefs may be different. He appears to have beliefs that aren’t driven by a poll and that seems to be rare also.
