Ok thanks. That's not the point of the post I was responding to and suggesting otherwise is disingenuous and I think you know that.

You used your wife’s aunt as an example, so let’s hear the whole story so we can maybe learn something. Maybe you can change peoples attitudes about the virus.

I know what board I am posting on.

ETA: Also, a quick perusal of your post history suggests you aren't looking for either of these things.

I’m really curious about what happened. I’m very sorry for your loss, but genuinely would like to know the story and maybe what could have been done differently if anything. Contrary to what you may have read on my past postings, as i am rabidly anti-mandate on the vaxx, I do believe that the virus can be deadly and should be respected.

Stop getting tested! That’s what’s causing these lockdowns again.

So, you didn't bother with monoclonal antibodies because you didn't believe CV19 was a serious risk to your unvaccinated toddler?

Why do you care who is unvaxxed at this point?

There's no reason to beat up on the dad as this is not his fault. Covid usually isn't a serious to a toddler unless the toddler has serious underlying health problems. In addition, the dad getting treated w/ monoclonal antibodies would've had NO effect on the toddler catching covid from the dad. Treatment w/ monoclonal antibodies doesn't make someone no longer infectious. Assuming the toddler caught covid from the dad, dad was infectious w/ covid for at least a few days before dad developed symptoms. Therefore the toddler had been exposed to covid before dad would've been treated w/ monoclonal antibodies.

Yes? The incidences of serious illness for a toddler from covid are incredibly rare. If everyone with a covid positive toddler that gets a fever rushes to the hospital seeking treatment, people who actually need this treatment, or frankly any other medical services, will lose access. There has to be some discernment here and frankly we gave zero thought to bringing a sleeping toddler to the ER because of a fever that was responsive to palliative treatment and the child was generally engaging and eating. The newborn was a totally different set of considerations.

I don’t care who is vaccinated anymore. I am still inherently curious in how people evaluate risk.

I'm over 65, smoke, a little overweight, and it lasted a total of 3 days for me. No Ivermectin, no HCQ but I had been taking quercetin, zinc and D3 daily for a year and a half (often forgetting so over 50% of the time maybe 75% of the time).

Everything tasted salty, even coffee, zero nausea, some fever and traveling muscle aches for 3 days, two nights of sweating, the last one soaking. Shiits that smelled worse than my grandmother's chicken coop. Woke up refreshed after the night of soaking sweat.

After two days of ivermectin, some vitamins, and steroids I feel good as new. No more fever, body aches, or feeling tired. It’s like I never had it.

After this experience, I will never doubt that the government and media are lying to us on a regular basis.

Nice man I’m in the same boat. Yesterday I ate a steak and watched the saints game and today I feel great. I don’t think the steak and saints game cured me though. I think you and I were infected with a mild strain of a virus that will naturally run it’s course for nearly everyone in 3-4 days time.
