Trump was compelling....mainly because I 100% agree with him...but he didn't say anything new. Chuck and Nancy said the same stupid shite they always do. So what got accomplished? Not sure I see the point of tonight. I doubt anybody was swayed.... Thoughts?

The bases won't be swayed either way.

Trump/Dems are tryinf to reach the very small margin in the middle, and I think Trump laid out his case in a more compelling way.

It was simply the first time they have made a nationwide address on the issue stating the side

You couldnt even watch the Bachelor or whatever soccer mom shite was on

You can either side with Americans and American safety and prosperity or you can side with illegals and gangs, violence and drugs

The Presidency is the bully pulpit. He will win this on the long term.

I think it was more of a means to motivate the voters to put pressure on their representatives.

Any person who doesn't have their head in the political bias realizes a wall is effective, and the argument of not building it for a crumb of the federal budget is ludicrous justification.

this

Neither really went in hard for the kill. My take is this was more about keeping Senate Republicans in line than changing anyone's mind.

There is no argument to Trump’s speech from an America First view point. He was professional as can be while calling the congressional opposition morons.
