In those days people would bitch, but they didn't get automatic press coverage

When the PC era started with Bill Clinton, these people began getting air time

Eventually leading to the Age of Obama, when the "black spokesperson" was the first person interviewed, and often the only one

Why am I not surprised that you see it this way?

What problems, even at a trivial level, do you think statue removal and confederate history erasure will solve? It's only going to cause more bitterness and hatred, and those who put nothing into the system will continue to get nothing out of it.
