1) NO party affiliation on ballots.

2) Each ballot has 5 multiple choice questions. These questions will be chosen from the same test immigrants have to take. The number of correct answers will determine the value of your vote. 1 correct = 20% of a vote and so on. Everyone would still be allowed to vote, but society wouldn't be punished anymore by the retards in our society getting an equal say in government.

Oh, the ballots will be in English. If you can't read English, then you can't read the Constitution.

So what you're saying is you believe only people who vote the way you do should have the right to vote.

Then why waste money on elections. Let's just have you decide who wins.

Actually that's not what he was saying.

Actually that's exactly what he's saying. He doesn't want people who vote like Rex to be able to vote. He wants people who think like him to vote.

I think he should propose a Constitutional Amendment saying "Only people who think like me should have the right to vote."

You missed the point. Rex can vote like that, and most people do. And, to me, it's problematic

You said:

"The problem is someone like rex, who votes himself tax subsidies for health insurance, knowing damn well it has to be taken first."

So you don't want people like Rex voting. You want people like you voting.

That's one way to win elections.

But then we're back to redundancy. Why have 1 million people like Michigan voting for president. Let's just have you pick. One vote decides the presidency. Because you know more than people like Rex.

Btw do you trip over your arrogance and elitism? It seems to be pouring out of your orifices.

That's not what he was saying, care to try again.

I don't vote myself money taken from others. I vote for candidates who do their best to mitigate legal plunder. Jerry brown has gone against his party and has cut spending. He gets my vote. The problem is someone like rex, who votes himself tax subsidies for health insurance, knowing damn well it has to be taken first.

I'm reading YOUR thread. The one that says you don't believe these people should be allowed to vote.

Youer inferring shite. I distrust mass voting when the government is functioning as it currently is. I don't want to limit voting rights, I want people to stop glorifying mass suffrage. It's a personal opinion of mine,

No, I do not want people like Rex voting. But to say I only want people like me voting is being intellectually dishonest because there are more than two distinct types of people voting.

The good thing about people like Rex is the majority of them are idiots and probably wouldn't pass a citizenship test in order to be eligible to vote.

There was a very obvious reason why the founders limited the franchise.

quote:

People who did not own property had no concern for a majority of the issues in the political realm, and as a result were often uninformed of the issues, and the various policies of the political leaders. Their votes, if allowed to be offered, would be based on nothing but guessing, limited knowledge, or influence by the popular media of the day. Politicians were aware of this, and in societies where the propertyless could vote, their votes were won by the politicians offering them gifts from the treasury. The practice of buying votes through entitlements was something the Founding Fathers did not desire to exist in the American System, therefore unless you were directly influenced by a majority of the policies by the politicians because of your ownership status in society, it was better for society that you did not vote.

LINK

So, let me qualify my original position. If you do not pay some kind of property tax or income tax, you should be automatically disqualified from voting. In order for citizens to be eligible to vote, you must be able to pass a citizenship test every two years. This also includes presenting a valid I.D. card at the voting booth.

Haven't read this thread but I've always maintained that suffrage should be extremely limited.

Who should vote... Men, property owners, pass an IQ test, voter I.D.

Not vote.. Women, anyone on welfare, low IQ, no voter I.D.

You would end up getting much better leaders and have a more prosperous nation.

Notes... Low IQ and welfare would disenfranchise many blacks. But black males with normal intelligence and financial independence should vote.

OTOH...High IQ white females who are not on welfare should not vote. Because on 5 days of the month they cannot think rationally. And on the other 25 days they're not real close to logic.

No, they do not gain any logical skills after their eggs are gone. I'm also convinced that every time a woman has a baby she loses 3 IQ points via the placenta.

So, an 18 year old girl with an IQ of 100 has 3 babies. At age 40 her IQ is 91.

If you don't pay taxes you don't get to vote.

That would put the dems in a catch 22.

If you aren't 25 you don't need to vote, we don't need young morons voting.

In bibical days there was ine vote per family.
