They could easily rule a law mandating voter ID in a Presidential election Constitutional.

THAT is a different question, asking if that rule could mandate voter ID

Hence the use of "organic fiat", ie, originating via USSC itself

Congress did NOT pass a gay marriage law prior to the USSC's ruling.

The underlying suits in Ogberfell involved state actions that did exist already and were declared unconstitutional.

The USSC didn't just create the rule organically with no underlying state action

No, it is not. You do not have a right to a marriage license. A marriage license is literally a document produced by government. It is the definition of an act of government.

As usual, you don't understand the facts or the actual argument. The argument is that the state cannot create a legal system of issuing marriage licenses that violates your rights.

You arguing the ACA is not an act of Congress is your masterpiece

I wouldn't think they could create policy.

They legalized gay "marriage" nationwide, they can legalize voter ID and anything else nationwide.

The USSC recreated Obamacare as a tax in order to avoid issuing what was the correct ruling in the case.

You have a fundamental misunderstanding of the basics of our government, which seems to be a common thing in this thread.

Well yes, SCOTUS created a tax completely out of thin air in their ruling. They created the Obamacare that was enacted. Congress did not.
