Saw a video the other day from 93 with Nirvana. They were talking about Madonna charging 50 bucks for a ticket and those guys couldn't believe it. Cobain looked absolutely disgusted and was literally speechless. They made jokes about taking their own fans for every frickin penny in their pockets.
Fast forward to about 2009 or so and I know someone who paid 1,400 fricking dollars to go see Madonna perform.

Right. Someone asked me how much I would pay to go see Def Leppard. I said 45 dollars. 5 dollars per arm.

Totally correct with the exception that it’s HER followers and supporters she is speaking of. The rest of us know she is sheisty, a fraud, full of shite, and dangerous but her own crew is too damned dumb to catch and/or care if they do. Even with the rest of us shouting it from the rooftops…they don’t have ears to hear. Sad!
