They think tensions with the US started with the Iranian revolution.
Which is only out of convenience, bc if they studied a little harder they'd know we dispensed a secular democratically elected leader (Mosaddegh) decades earlier and replaced him with a fricking monarchist (shah) to prevent nationalization of their oil...
We created this problem... their Islamic revolution was just a byproduct.

I support the effort, but I do not think this blockade will work.
Or at least I only think it'll work until someone puts us in a position to enforce it. How do we stop them? Fire on the ship? Sink it? I don't think that'll play well.
Or do you rain hellfire down on Iran if that happens?
