We are told it's somewhere in the neighborhood of 81 million.

I think it's more than that.

You seem to be preaching intellectual honesty and I am good with that. So, doing the jobs' reports, are they created jobs that the Biden administration could and should take credit for or are they jobs that were there before the shut down and they are just being refilled as things opened back up?

I think during the middle of 2020 and 2021 - we all assumed that people were choosing to live on the unemployment dollars and that’s why there was a workers shortage …but i think a good amount of people found home jobs

I don’t think the Biden admin is honest in bragging about the UE being at 4% bc that was going to happen anyway

And to be clear…i think high inflation will continue to be a problem and this will be bc of Biden …it’s just the high inflation of 2021 snd and 1Q of 2022 are reflective of Trump 2020 snd Biden 2021

Um, it is part of the equation!

Demand has gone up largely from an increased money supply.

Supply has been restricted due to the governments of the world artificially restricting production for 2 years.

This allows businesses to raise prices because the combination of higher demand and restricted supply is not hurting their sales when they do so. There isn't aggressive competition to lower prices because everyone is selling everything they can.

Look, greed is a part of capitalism, if it wasn't everything would be sold at cost or would even be free... and we would run out of everything. Some people think greed is evil, but its not, it's just business.

Although I agree with you, there are several businesses in my very own industry which are price gouging on materials which are still in vast supply.

It’s price gouging however you cut it.

Oh man, you can't tell people spending under Trump and the Trump tariffs cause inflation. You would be stupid.

I don't understand. If the materials are still in vast supply, why would customers choose to purchase at a higher price. Doesn't follow basic economic theory baw

Liberal and stupid are synonymous.

The only business practice of “scalping” gas prices is the gas station owners. Just look at the Bocage Chevron vs. Sams/Costco price differences, but thats another debate. The actual producers of the gas are probably loosing money right now.

I wouldn’t necessarily say stupid, but more the product of mis-guided generations that came before them. This so called “stupidity” is not low IQ, but rather the continuation of flawed reasoning skills handed down to them. They couldn’t possibly call out the very people that were in charge of their very existence.
