the tariff thing you will never get real answers. Too much trump hate to actually find real results. They keep saying it hasn't even hit yet, but then they say everything is because of tariffs. We all know thats bullshite. shite has been getting ridiculously expensive since covid. When inflation is posted as 9+% but probably closing to 18% its never coming down. It may slow down, but not coming down. Beef is the main thing I see. But how can trump being in office for 10 months tarriffs less than that have any affect on beef. Supply and demand. We are lucky to have gas down.

Its insurance that we need to deal with. health, home, car all of it. Its a damn rip off. Give us our income taxes back. I don't care if they government can't buy toilet paper. frick em

FWIW I just went to the Food King to buy coffee. I asked the cashier how much more I was paying for this due to tariffs. She looked at me like I was crazy.

This is a joke BTW for those who don't get it.

The question being asked is stupid.

Not to mention him asking a cashier about tariffs lol. Like she knows what the product costs then what the store charges. What a retard.

I haven't noticed much movement at all, prices seem to be pretty flat to me. Beef has went down here (ground beef) from about $9/lb to $7/lb. Eggs have went down significantly. My auto insurance and dental insurance has went up, but not by a lot. Gas is down, considerably.

Overall I think, for me, it's at the break even point. I think come spring/summer 2026 you'll notice things coming down. Lord knows I wish steak prices would come down, but that's going to take a couple of years.

ETA: WTF with laundry detergent and fabric softener? I'm paying double what I was in 2020.

I haven’t seen any price hikes that are concerning. Seems like normal inflation. tariffs or not….

Show how you calculated it. I'd love to see your method.

I would also.

SDVtiger, show everyone how you would calculate paying more daily essentials due to tariffs.

How I calculated what?

I gave a specific example for Dove. Butcherbox has been 300 all year

Not one single essential item for me has increased to where I would cry as much as frogtard

Coffee is the go to but thats not essential
