We homeschool all 6 children

Have for the past 5 years

They went to private school before that.

ETA: I went to a mix of private, public and I was homeschooled for a few years. I thought private education would be the best - the academics are great but the values are quickly going downhill

Every home schooled kid I know is a weird, awkward little fricker with zero social skills. Their parents are usually fricking weirdos too.

I know kids like that from public school too

Conservative Christian school, but even then I monitor topics, and what's being taught. There are progressive/liberal lessons in even some of these teachers and topics.
I've had nice talks with my oldest on a few subjects, what she was being told was very slanted and borderline false. The majority of issues seem to center around history/social studies and of all things science.

Not anymore; however, both are the products of K-12, private/parochial schools.

But make no mistake, some of that left leaning social justice crap has found it's way into those schools as well to varying degrees.

I went to private school, my kids go to private school.

I am not a devout church goer, but I believe in faith and the community you are in at private schools.

I highly recommend. You do not have to be wealthy to afford private school, you just need to have priorities. Plus financial aid is offered.
