’m sure as a colonel she’s on profile from prior service injuries. Most are.
I was combat arms as a 19K Abrams tanker. Even Brigade Commanders (full bird colonels) were also tank commanders. For instance 1st Brigade in 1st Cabalry Division, called the Ironhorse Brigade, we'll Ironhorse 6 has a tank and tank crew.
My point is, no one could serve in an Armored unit with a 3 in PULHES. A 3 in your PULHES (pulmonary, upper extremities, lower extremities, hearing eyes and psych) puts your arse on permanent profile. They have these dumb frick staff leadership positions where you can be on permanent profile and never have to run again in your military career. You get to do an alternate event like 2.5 mile 2alk or bike ride or even swim.
A temporary injury gets you a temporary 3 in your PULHES and exempt you from a PT test until after you're healed.
In a real unit, you're fricked if you get a permanent profile. For these REMF arse units, they love getting permanent profiles so they don't ever have to really pass a PT test again.

2 miles in 22 min is way too easy.

Yeah, obviously. But she's a woman and she's old.
I remember we had a crusty SFC from Tennessee that would smoke a Marlboro Red during his 2 mile run because he was so old that his time was a joke.
He had to run faster during a company run than he did on his own APFT.

When I was a grunt in the Marines I averaged 3 miles in 21 minutes and that was considered average at best

My high school football team skill players had to run a mile in 5:30. If we didn't we caught hell.

Even the "standard" for 17-21 year old males is (unless they changed it) 2 miles in 15:54. Then 22-26 was 16:36 if I remember correctly. I used to know that shite when I was a 1SG.
Anyway, they're all slow and not hard, so if I had young enlisted not running under 15 flat, they'd be put on remedial PT. But I was in an all male combat unit. But we were tankers, so we generally weren't as huge on PT scores as an infantry unit.

I hear you. I ran PT 4-5 times a week for over 20 years. Even when I retired, I was running very low 14s.
It's not hard once you get your body used to it.
