I must apologize for my juvenile answer that I gave earlier. At the time I was angry.

On a serious note this is a matter of national security.
Our military runs on diesel and jet fuel.
Each one of those locos that you see at the railroad crossing has a 3500 gallon diesel fuel tank.
Each semi carries over 100 gallons.
When folks get really hungry there may be a steel storm.
