The U.S. will have less revenue bc of the tax rate change approved in Dec.

Now the omnibus bill increases spending.

How does the world react?

It's like going from that construction job your cousin got you to flipping burger ...at the same time you decide to trade in your junker Kia to a range rover.

Less income = more spending

Smart?

So we we didn't increase spending and decrease the funds for government?

Consumers are spending more as well, so theoretically there should be more tax revenue.

We'll just keep kicking that debt bucket down the road. All politicians are the same regardless of political affiliation. They love spending other people's money. They just favor spending it on different things.

We get the worst return on investment out of any developed country in the world on a multitude of things. Healthcare, Defense, Education, and Entitlements are all extremely bloated and inefficient.

People don't really seem to care. They care enough to post on the internet, but not deeply enough to force real change.

WTF are you talking about?

We’re about to bring in record tax revenues.

FY 2017 - $3.32 trillion.

FY 2015 - $3.25 trillion.
FY 2014 - $3.02 trillion.
FY 2013 - $2.77 trillion.
FY 2012 - $2.45 trillion.
FY 2011 - $2.30 trillion.
FY 2010 - $2.16 trillion.

State and Local governments went over $400 billion for the first time ever in 2017, and they are projected to reach nearly $450 billion in 2018.

Why would any other country have an opinion on this? What a dumb thread. Spending is out of control, no one disagrees with that. But fedgov absolutely does not have a revenue problem, it has a waste problem.

Nearly every Western country runs a deficit. Someone doesn’t understand economics.

Sounds like we need to cut all foreign aid. How would the pricks like that?

The world doesn’t have a viewpoint. Most of them woke up this morning, took a shite in tall grass, headed toward a small water source that might not be clean, and wondered when the next rice delivery from usaid would arrive.

There's talk about avoiding the USA for World Cup Soccer even though the only competition is an incompetant bid from Morocco.

This has never happened due to a tax cut.
