Get saved. Get into a good conservative church. Get guns. Get into a good militia.

You can be a "Martyr" for the cause.

If you go "storming" anything you'll be made one.

The problem is both sides favor expansion of government powers when it's their team in office. The results is every administration the powers of DC expand.

The melt on here when the next Democrat president declares a national emergency for their pet project is going to be insane but nobody blinked an eye when Trump did it because he's their guy.

It's called a Constitutional Convention of States (COS). A mechanism in the U. S. Constitution that gives the States the power to rein in an out of control central government. And make no mistake this central government is out of control. Quite labor intensive to pull off a COS but it can be done. Has to be ratified by the State Legislators.

But IMO it's too late. The number of folks sucking off the government tit now almost exceeds those paying the bills (as in taxes). Believe at one time it was 47-53 ratio of takers versus payers. Seems there are folks in this country determined to turn this once great country into another Venezuela.

A lot riding on this next Presidential election.

Sooo, you want our side to purge all of our guys, and do a pinkey honor with the other side to get rid of their guys (because its the right thing to do, cough, cough) and we all, as great Americans will bring in new blood which will not be as dishonest as the ones now in congress. OK, that sounds like a sound plan; for a third grader. Especially after we notice that the other side has kept all of their old guys, and our fresh new guys lost in the general, because of green behind the ears problems. Yeah, why didn't I think of that one.

We the people need to organize, throw all of DC out and start anew or we will walk steadily off a cliff and all perish How can we stop Congress and all associated with them and run them out of all their positions? Stupid? Maybe so but I thought the Constitution gave instructions on how to do this Please just give solutions and stay on topic We have to save ourselves from an overpowering government that couldn’t care less about its employers, which is us taxpayers

I hate to be cynical, LT, but we have a massive wave of future Democratic Socialist voters that have arrived as of late. And given the razor thin wins in Purple States (which was the basis for Electoral College victory), such virtually guarantees Dem hegemony in coming elections.

The sad truth is that any 'organizational' effort, will have to be outside of the Democratic electoral process. The Founders knew that Democracy was a significant threat to Constitutional Freedom; therein the comment when asked "what kind of Government have you give us"...the answer "a Republic, Ma'am...for as long as you can keep it"...looms large.

Votes can't solve a problem, if votes ARE the problem. Your 'Organization' will essentially have to 'anti-democratic' (I.e., 'tyrannical'); and they/it will be publically and rightfully labeled as such. Good luck with that.

Back when...a majority of the Populous did NOT want the Declaration of Independence. Freedom...or relative security? Bird in the hand...or go for the bush.

The Capitan on the Titanic saw the iceberg from afar; the mass and momentum of the boat made turning enough to miss it, impossible.

Sorry.

The Tea Party organized and had an effect in 2010 but it was killed by bureaucracy.

The Tea Party was the last gasp of traditional conservatism - small government, low taxes, cut regulation.

What we're in now is an existential fight for our borders, language, and culture. We're being overrun by the Visigoths. The type of organization and the extra-political solutions such a crisis requires will be different than the Tea Party movement.

Everybody should be taking 5 minutes of their day to call your own congressmen. Tell them they have lost your vote until they act.

Why pump the breaks? This is a major issue with conservatives.

We stand back and think.."it'll never happen nor effect me and until it DOES effect me, I'll just vote"

If everybody has that mentality, there will be nobody to help you when it does effect you.

Man you don't have to donate to get their attention.

I called and spoke this morning to mine to say that I will not be voting for them if the FISA abuses are not handled by Jan 2020.

The response was "Well I have attempted to do so and want it done.. I assure you"....

My response. "That's great to hear. Never the less, I will vote to replace you, I will vote for who ever your opponents are either in Primary or General if Jan 6th gets here and nothing has been done."

Their response "you mean you would vote for a dem... the people wanting to impeach?"

Mine... "YES! At least I know what I am getting. And when we get it, the people here will vote them out with a more active conservative"
