How do we know the data isn't being manipulated?

Let's be honest here.. we don't know how the case data is getting reported, where its coming from, or who its coming from. It might be easily changed to look more horrible than it is to make people more scared. I don't trust it. You should all look at it a little more cautiously.

I dont trust the data coming out of New Orleans or the state of Louisiana. I have always felt like there is a bit of manipulation going on.
If yesterdays numbers from Louisiana are factual and accurate then we will see lots more days like it. If not then they are under reporting on the weekends to make the days of the week look worse.

I’d suggest it’s much more likely any data being manipulated is being done so in the other direction to minimize impact.
Several countries have already done it.
Pretty sure we did it during Spanish flu.

It’s being manipulated. I’ve heard car crashes and heart attacks that are being tacked on the death toll if the person tests positive.
