"The federal government is too powerful and has robbed the American people of the ability to live united while respecting differences. Our states have economies the size of medium to large nations but are treated like counties. The Tenth Amendment of the Constitution has been ignored for too long.'

You seen nothing but politicians grabbing even more power. Political entities only remove power and freedoms - they never give it back. No more. In office I will do the most loving thing possible - transfer power back to the states and restore your freedoms. Sovereign states don't need a nanny state in DC ruling over matters it has no jurisdiction such as abortion and gun control. As you see power transferred, federal income taxes will reduce in lockstep."

"If you want to run your state like Venezuela, you are free to do so. But respect the sovereignty and self determination of other states. Governors and state legislatures matter. If you have problems, don't wait for the federal government - just take action"

And for the board folks remember, conservatives are majority in 30 of the state legislatures.

Starting today, we are not sending another penny to another country or any world organization.

America and its people first!

The problem is that neither party would support them. Or if you could get nominated Trump style, it would be hard to pass anything. Time to get the losers out, root and stem.

ETA: I'll take on the responsibility, but I don't know the way.

why would you support sending a dime to another country when you have people in this country living in headspinning abject poverty with no plan to reopen businesses or put significant amounts of money in their pockets?

eta assuming your post was made in jest that is.

I have a plan for that. A Tenth Amendment Movement. Where we craft a Declaration of Freedom and get everyone conservative and moderate possible to sign it via petition. It will stipulate we only vote for people who support the movement. This can easily be our 1776 moment if we get behind it - freedom from an overreaching federal government.

Here's a more detailed post.. didn't gain traction initially by likely a combination of time of day I posted and TLDR.

We're best off spelling out what we'll vote for, communicating strength via petition, and bypassing the parties. There's a single polarization - either you're a freedom person or you're not - and that's how we'll vote

I'm down.

I want to run for Congress, but I'm waiting to see how redistricting here in TX pans out this April. I'm pissed and ready to try to fix things with silver, but think it will eventually take lead.

Currently. But if we got behind this, had a formal Declaration signing, and had a massive petition, there would be others. We The People need to define the way and they need to get on board

Any politician that utters the words “for the American people” is a fraud. Compassion is not in the nature of government which is why we have the constitution. Only thing I want to hear from a politician is they will follow the constitution to the letter. Everything else will take care of itself after that.

Agree but we need a plan to reverse violations. This is that plan. A president who strips a history of overreaching and pushes it back to the states is backing up "for the American people" with his own words

It starts with us. If we're 30% as organized as the liberals we'd annihilate them at the polls. We need to set the platform and not the other way around.

Or, alternatively, we can feel defeated and not have a plan of action
