if you're a 2A supporter, you should be aware that suppressors and short barreled rifles/shotguns have the opportunity to be removed from the National Firearms Act of 1934.
I've been keeping the Outdoor Board updated, but I'm not sure how many from there also venture over here.
Everything else that's been discussed, I assume, is getting voted on as well, i.e. no tax on tips and the works.

They're either doing it NOT to generate any news for it and keep it alive and trying to sneak it in,... or they are doing it to fuk over all the law abiding shooters who just want their damn hearing saved and keep their range buddy from getting TBI.
Either way, you don't vote on anything at 1 am without hiding something.

Do we have any update on this?

Dems just tried to kill the rule that would eliminate the $200 stamp PLUS registration for suppressors from the NFA. It failed. This price is now out of cmte and will be part of the House Bill.
It just happened...
This rule will eliminate the Stamp AND federal registration process, but you will still be required to go through a standard background check like you would for buying a firearm.
This still has to be voted on by the House And Senate, but this is a very very big step. Just up to Johnson to whip the votes and the Senate.... Which I don't trust

So what about suppressors already owned?

No idea. I put a qd taper mount on all my muzzles so I only need one suppressor. I’m elated this moved through. I’ll let my $200 go as a martyr for 2a.
