The clock is ticking. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Congress must raise the debt limit by mid-July to avoid an economy-rattling default, leaving lawmakers little time to hash out their differences and deliver Trump a bill he can sign into law.

little time if you’re as worthless as congress. It’s two fricking months.

There are parts of the bill that are a win and promises kept. I’ve pointed some of them out.

No tax on SS never happened. A 65+ deduction of $4,000 is better than nothing, but it’s closer to nothing than it is no tax on SS.

To argue otherwise requires such a low level of intellect that I’m surprised some of you can even log in.

He shouldn’t. This thing is a fricking spending catastrophe. What happened to reducing spending? Why is that not being addressed? Grow some fricking balls, Congress, and address this issue rather than make it worse.

We are closing in on a debt:GDP ratio that is going to spiral out on control. Our interest:budget ratio is Will soon be 20%. If we were anyone other than the US, we’d be fricked. But the world needs our economy to keep humming. We have time, but not much.

They arent cutting medicaid!!!!!

They are telling you if you are on medicaid and can work a few hours, you have to work to get it free, is that too fking much to ask?

When the statement was "millions will lose healthcare" you could just as easily said, millions of lazy arseholes would rather die that work a few hours.

I am pissed about the mic spending, could easily have cut 400 billion there.

When it was 750 billion the military itself said there was 100 billion waste so probably 200 billion, even with inflation it should be no more than 600 billion.

Hell that fiasco of f-35 would save us 100s of billions.

Absolutely not. Do your own research. I don't work for you. I've clearly demonstrated that I know exactly what his issues are over the many days this has been discussed on the board already.

What a cop out.

I'm under 40 so I don't watch cable news actually.

You do. You just don't know it ... which is worse.
Single source, multioutlet reporting left you with CNN's take.

What you posted does not just reflect ignorance of the House plan. It reflects frank duplicity. Consider that. Then evaluate your choice of news source.

I don't see a long term win in any of this.

2028 will be here before you know it, mid terms even sooner.

What the frick have we gotten ourselves into.

As a side note, Texas is set to ban all products with THC.

How's that for freedom.
