Apparently (from twitter, can’t confirm):
“The bill would not allow people into the US while they were waiting for asylum (which is what they have always done), so they would be forced to stay outside of the US and wait for asylum to be granted. They are essentially making it so people won’t apply for asylum“

The funny thing is they just decided to NOT make the gov’t bigger which is funny, but sad because the Rs proposed hiring more federal employees and its being celebrated.

We have GOT to take the House away from them in 2020. I would LOVE to see a Jim Jordan as Speaker shoving REAL legislation right down their throats.
