Gun owners routinely give up ground of their own volition. We have gun owners on this site that fully support a plethora of bans.
The Pro-gun side made a good faith compromise on the Brady Bill and Clinton assault weapon ban and we learned our lesson.
Not an inch.

The inclusion of semi-auto handguns and especially shotguns shows pretty clearly that this bill is just a throwaway gesture to let the Dem candidates move on and change the subject before the mid-terms. Schumer and even Pelosi know the issue is and will be a loser on the national stage. But bleat on. You don't have to believe in Kek to serve his will.

Yup. I'm actually not against some measures to help combat the gun crimes we see (mandatory training for ccw holders, closing "gun show loophole", etc.), but you just can't give anything anymore, because there's no real compromise. It's just giving ground until you're all the way to the libtards side.

Interesting how they stopped short of banning the ownership of these guns, which is the next logical step. They will say that they are still not "coming for your guns", but this bill is just as bad.
