Hope Hicks AF1 "Controversy"

So Hicks apparently got on AF1 with Trump to go to the Ohio rally. Now the usual suspects are saying it was a way for Trump to tamper with witnesses (I'd tamper with dat witness).
Anyway, the two craziest guys on twitter had this to say:
I don't think these guys understand exactly what a "witness" is. According to them, it is illegal for Trump to talk to ANYONE who was ever on his campaign because that would be "witness tampering." Hell, he shouldn't ever talk to Jared or Ivanka or Lewondowski because, you know, those guys are witnesses!

Apparently there is some controversy whether those swimsuit pics are actually Hicks. Some say it is a model named Hillary Rhoda. They do alike a lot alike if they're not the same person. Anyone know the truth? I know Hope did model back in the day.
EDIT: Yep, looks like those swimsuit pics are of a model named Hillary Rhoda who everyone thinks looks like Hicks. It seems Hicks only did regular modeling as a teen, no swimsuit stuff.

Of course it’s possible they didn’t even talk about the case. Like when Bill Clinton and the senior official in charge of bringing charges against his wife met on an airplane and didn’t talk about the case once. Just chatted about grandkids.

I don't think it matters, legally, unless he was ordered not to do so by a judge. I find that extremely unlikely considering he is the president, has not been to court or interviewed by anyone.
Hicks is no different from anyone else on the campaign, some of whom still work in the White House. Is Trump not allowed to talk to Junior or Javanka?
