Hispanic congressional contingent in PR with 109 lobbyists attending winter retreat

While the President is waiting in the WH for an acceptable deal from the left, 30 Hispanic Democrats are partying it up in PR alongside 109 lobbyists.

'Some 30 Democratic lawmakers left the government shutdown behind Friday on a chartered flight to Puerto Rico for a winter retreat with 109 lobbyists and corporate executives during which they planned to see the hit Broadway show “Hamilton” and attend three parties including one with the show’s cast.

Those attending the Congressional Hispanic Caucus BOLD PAC winter retreat in San Juan planned to meet with key officials to discuss the cleanup after Hurricane Maria at a roundtable Saturday.

But the weekend is packed with free time for the members and their families on the trip. '

So not only are they continuing to draw their paychecks but they're enjoying the tropical retreat and the lovely perks that come with the 'retreat.' While those federal workers about whom they care so much are facing the snowstorm in Washington and elsewhere and not sure when their next paycheck will arrive.

It just reinforces the fact that the left cares so very much about their constituents!
