My ancestors left the Rhineland to get away from all that was the Old Country and start a new and better place. What I see today is all of that which was left behind is now sitting on my doorstep.

My forefathers escaped northwest Alabama when the feds cracked down on bootlegging. Now we are surrounded by crack heads and nobody really cares.
