The only problem with that is there are likewise thousands of dead Ukrainians and thousands of Ukrainian prisoners. Ukraine can't go tit for tat with the Russian Federation. They don't have the manpower and they lost a lot of equipment trying to hold open that pocket.

Israel is the wests outpost in the Middle East.

The west is already in Europe. Kicking the bear in Ukraine doesn’t make as much sense.

The Muslims are playing the long game. Instead of creating a country in the middle of Europe, they will just outbreed them.

Japan and Israel.

You really need to take that into account.

I certainly don’t discount the fact that as modern, wholly industrialized nations, both Japan and Israel are important trade partners for the United States in Asia and the Middle East.

Yet this simply begs the question: why should U.S. taxpayers be burdened with perpetually subsidizing the defense of such wealthy nations?

For some context, the area Ukrainian troops in Kursk, is smaller than the county I live in.

And I don’t live in a very big county.

I'll ask it a different way when subsidizing other countries, some have betrayed us anyway (South Africa), some would betray us if they could (Ukraine), and some won't betray us but they despise us (EU).

We have more problems than the fact that we over fund a valuable and loyal ally.

There are at least 120 countries who deserve our money less.

Kursk did draw a lot of Russian troops away from the other fronts and Russia pounded their own towns and villages into rubble.

Yes. But had it altered the trajectory of the war in the slightest?

No.

Therein lies the problem. Russia is still attritting the Ukrainian forces at a level Ukraine cannot afford. And Russian forces are still slowly gaining ground in Ukraine.

This Kursk adventure was stupid; a waste of dwindling resources for Ukraine. And the fact they sent some of their best troops there only to have them worn down for nothing? That’s pathetic.

It is a needless conundrum.

End ALL foreign aid.

Like any government welfare program, foreign aid simply redistributes wealth to politically connected entities and creates more problems than it solves.

And you think buying the loyalty of other countries is a bad thing?

“Buying” loyalty with taxpayer money is simply a variation of a longstanding plank of the Democratic Party.

We are talking about other countries.

Do you think the United States should not compete with other world powers (namely China) for the support of other nations?

Z should have kept his mouth shut about his territory being red line. You are lucky that you get to keep any territory at all.

Sorry bud, I don't think Jefferson's foreign policy of 250 years ago translates to the modern, connected world. It's just not that simple.

Wait a minute I thought all these fat blue haired lesbians and feminist men were telling us that toy soldier Zelensky was just defending his land and not making any advances, and that's why he needed hundreds of billions of dollars of US taxpayer money that he conveniently can't find over half of while his wife is shopping in Paris, he is globe trotting the world and they are kidnapping men over 60 who are just walking their fricking dog and forcing them to fight Russia

Putin will also have to keep real troops in Kursk to protect its border now. No more minimally trained conscripts.

Yes. Read the Jefferson quote above.
