Hannukah assailant son of illegal immigrant from Guyana?

Immigration official Ken Cuccinelli tweeted that the attacker was the son of illegal immigrants who were granted amnesty under Reagan's 1986 amnesty bill..... shooter was born here so is a citizen.. tweet has been deleted. Lawyer says the mom gained citizenship in 1986 and is a nurse. Said the father lives in Utah and no relationship with the son.... didn't confirm or deny the prior immigration status...

edited---I said TX shooter rather than NY Hanukkah attacker---I knew that, I just had a brain fart.

No, but he was duped by Ted Kennedy and the democrats. The amnesty bill turned over California to the dems forever. Not to mention got the ball rolling on millions more pouring over the border b/c their predecessors were rewarded for coming here illegally.

I’ve seen his speeches on YouTube and he spoke in favor of immigration if the immigrants register and pay taxes. I think he was smarter than Ted Kennedy and the Dims not to get duped.

This. He signed the amnesty with the assumption the democrats would follow through on border enforcement as they had promised, which they did not. The amnesty became an incentive for future illegals to enter with the promise of the same deal in the future.
They were right when Bush did it again, and again when obama got DACA through.
People talk about the 20 or 30 million illegals here, the real problem are the additional 20 million anchor babies and 20 million anchorette grandbabies.

That amnesty deal was the worst mistake he ever made and he admitted as much after leaving office.
Of course the Dems reneged on their end of the deal to secure the boarder.
