Hamas WANTS dead Palestinians, because it does exactly what is happening now. The wailing and gnashing of teeth for dead Palestinians by the media are ginning up support Hamas. The more dead the greater the sympathy for the deaths HAMAS caused by attacking innocent civilians on October 7.
They blacked people from leaving Gaza prior to the Israeli military response. They use civilians as human shields. They put command centers and military equipment in schools and hospitals for the sole purpose of making sure that when Israel tries to knock them out, a bunch of dead children and hospital patients will be paraded by the press for all to see.
BTW - Hamas is a terrorist organization. Hamas has been elected to lead the Palestinians. Poll after poll shows those elections are no fluke.
Fully 2/3s of Palestinians SUPPORT Hamas and its terrorist activity toward Israel. They are reaping what they have sown. I have no sympathy for those whose stated goal is to literally kill every Jew on Earth nor for those who support them.

That's the same argument as me having to feel guilty about slavery. I had ZERO to do with it, and no one in my family ever did either. Even they had, that's on them, not me.
When you plan for 2+ years to cross into Israel for the expressed purpose of killing, torturing, raping and kidnapping innocent civilians, then you give up any and all rights to claim victim status.
The hell that will rain down upon Gaza is the DIRECT RESULT of Hamas' terrorist actions - the very same Hamas the Palestinian people have chosen to represent them.
If Israel doesn't finish the job this time, we're gonna be right back in this same spot in a few years after Hamas has time to to re-arm and get their terrorist activities up and running again.
