Not any level of spin. Trump received it the very first year it was awarded. In the years since, 7 presidents have received the award.

Michael Cohen.
In 2016, he sent a Tweet saying that Trump could not conceivably be a racist because he had been awarded a medal by the NAACP. His support for this claim? The photo of Trump with Parks and Alimat the Ellis Island ceremony ... which was not related to the NAACP in any way.
No, none of this says Trump is a racist ... only that some of his supporters like to manufacture fake stories and that many of his other supporters eat it up with a spoon.
