yeah, just a reminder, this happened on his watch. it's not like he wasn't in some position to maybe do something about it beforehand. i know the lead up goes back to policy decisions stretching back to the 80s, but he was the man on watch, and that shite happened.

Bill Clinton had the chance to take out that goat fricker nine times...NINE TIMES and did frickall to kill him.

9/11 is on Clinton’s shoulders.

Other than what others have said, I don't know how all you Trump haters can honestly say a president sitting in his 2nd year of his first term is "the worst president evah".

That is looking at it honestly from an objective standpoint. Not even taking into account the economy having record growths, low unemployment, and businesses expanding while handing out extra bonuses. Regardless of whether you want to give him credit or not, you blame others for stuff "happening on their watch" at the bare minimum you have to give him credit for him not tanking it.

Definitely don’t blame him for 9/11.

I don’t blame totally for 9/11 it was a complete failure of governement, and the Clinton administration deserves as much fault as the Bush administration does.

The economy was mainly tanked by liberal policies.

Generally agreed the subprime market was a generation in the making

Louisiana’s government was to blame for the Katrina and Rita failures. I don’t know why people from Louisiana try to pass blame on the federal government.

Partly yes, the USACE had a big hand in the failure of the levees. FEMA was a totally fricked up largely because he appointed a political donor to run it. The whole thing was a cluster frick. But he doesn’t get enough credit for the funds and planning to help rebuild New Orleans and the Gulf Coast.

I don’t agree with what most of the surveillance programs have become, but I do believe that was not some easy initial problem to handle.

Agreed the growth in surveillance is a huge problem.

Bush’s presidency is a complicated one, but I think he loved this country, and I admire his actions in months after 9/11. I think history will be kind to him, a top 10 president prob not, but better than most... yes.

Remember how we passed laws to prevent this from offering again, and then repealed them a few months ago? Good times.

9-11 was a major security failure of HIS intelligence and security forces, and the Great Recession happened on his watch. Terrible President but likable guy.
