That coupled with an ocean of oil is an interesting prospect
.

Interesting indeed. Ive been there many times, their population mix is very similar to Trinidad, though we have less Amerindians.

They consider themselves part of the Caribbean, not South American. Not only are their demographics similar, but they were a former English Colony, only one in South America, and thus speak english, have a governing system similar. They are part of Caricom (Caribbean trading bloc).

And soon will be pumping over a million barrels a day in a country with 760,000 people. That would be like the US pumping 350 million a day.

And they do have an expression, if you know an honest Guyanese.....you probably dont know them well enough.

The most breathtaking natural scenery I have ever seen in my life in the interior, take a bush plane to Kaieteur falls in the interior.

That BBC interviewer came across as a pompous wind bag.

Stephen Sackur has a regular program Hard Talk. I will give him credit, he busts the balls of liberals as well, like the last climate change meeting with 40,000 people in the middle of the fricking desert in the middle east.

Trees don’t reduce CO2, which is why they’re not discussed as a solution.

Everything they capture is released right back to the atmosphere when they die.

While society seems to be getting less able to think logically I am encouraged when it comes to the climate madness. The propaganda is beginning to fall on more deaf ears.

That was great.

Called him out on the first world drawbridge mentality of,

"we developed our resources and boosted our standard of living, but we now forbid it for anyone else"

CO2 increases vegetation and food. Increased food and warmth increases LIFE!

Climate change screamers want to decrease human life in favor of some undefined “normal”.

Just a little over 10 millennia ago we were in an ice age with NY City buried under hundreds of feet of ice. Just a few hundred years ago Greenland was greener than today because the world was warmer than today.

The Earth has been completely covered in ice at least twice, and has been ice free several times.

Who gets to choose what is “normal” and why is their choice normal.

I’ll sit back and listen to the climate alarmist silence!
