Guv Halfwhit’s Sign Language Interpreter

So I’m watching the Guvs latest press conference on the flooding and I realized I haven’t heard a word she said because I’ve been busy watching and laughing at her dramatic sign language interpreter. It reminded me of the Curb Your Enthusiasm episode where the sign language interpreter became the focus because of her cleavage. How many deaf people actually attend press conferences or is this just some kind of disabled virtue signaling?

Looks like they are in the operations center for their Emergency Management Agency... Not uncommon for a flooding event but I am wondering why they do not have a briefing room at that operations center? Maybe they are doing it for social distancing purposes in the bigger room?
Normally those stations are manned when the center in active...

That's what I don't get. Is there some law out there saying sign language people are mandated?

alot of times, the close captioning is wildly inaccurate for a live event. Especially in places with heavy accents.

Halfwhit and the sign chick are 2 feet apart, no mask. Deputy is 6+ away with mask. At least do it right if you are going to virtue signal.
