That seems as if you're saying you don't believe in God given rights and that's fine. Religion isn't necessary to prove natural rights. Here is a famous analogy that was used against the King of England by Thomas Moore.
Some men say the earth is flat.
Some men say the earth is round.
But if it is flat. Could Parliament make it round?
And if it round. Could the kings command flatten it?”

Follow the logic behind this.

PS. Moore was beheaded after his trial

Your Gun isn't on a level playing field with the firepower the government has. People who think they are going to thwart the government with their precious guns are delusional. If the government want to kill you they are going to use drones and AI and not risk one soldiers life in doing so. You gun has no chance against that. None.

I've never said or implied otherwise.

Unnecessary. You're repeating things you've heard because you think it makes you sound intelligent. It's nothing new, and neither are you.

Isn't it a little bit scary to realize how many there are around you who apparently would kill their family if told to do so by the government? Thankfully, there seems to be few that would actually relish it, but sadly there seems to be a few of them also.

Even if a soldier can be convinced that he isn't personally killing his own family, he would have to know the soldier next to him is convincing himself of the same thing.

We need to realize that all of these leftists who gleefully talk about the government killing it's citizens are projecting. They must envision soldiers mindlessly mowing down citizens, and figure they would do so as well if ordered. Their own families, or someone else's family, what's the difference?

They had no problem murdering 75 people including 25 children at Waco.

They had no problem murdering Vicki Weaver at Ruby Ridge.

Blind loyalty is a scary thing

Agreed, but those weren't Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines. They were FBI, and ATF, and there was no chance that their family was in that compound. Nor did they have to contemplate that some other FBI or ATF agent was doing to their own family, what they were doing to the Branch Davidians.

Nah. The military will have no problem killing whoever the chain of command orders them to kill. Plenty of historical evidence to support this.

Not from the American form of government. It’s different here.

Assuming that 100% of the military would blindly follow the orders of a tyrannical government to wage war on it's own people, which isn't realistic in any sense, there are 1.4 million Americans in the military. There are approximately 245M adult American civilians. Do the math.

This is the worst logic out there for banning guns.

Let’s just keep the second amendment and let everyone own missiles and tanks.

Technology. Do you know what that is? The technology we have today is far better than what was available in 1776. They were on an equal playing field in 1776. That isn't the case today. Let me explain to you how this is going to go down.

Lets say the government wants to kill you and take your guns. They aren't going to send troops to your house. They are going to use a drone that will be controlled by gps and will be able to kill you. The amount of troops an Army has is irrelevant in 2018. It mattered in 1945, 1958, 1973 and even in 1992. It matters not now with the technology we have. Do you understand why your assertion is so laughable now? You will essentially be killed by an overweight computer nerd in a military uniform sitting in a chair 2,000 miles away while he is drinking a mountain dew and eating a honey bun.

Technology. Isn't that what the Germans had in advantage over the Soviets when operation Barbarossa began? They had technologically superior small arms, troops, artillery, tanks, planes, communications and strategy, just to name a few.

Know what they didn't have? Millions upon millions of people willing to die defending their liberty and way of life.

How did the German invasion of those technology deprived Russians go again?

Bingo. The 1934 NFA needs to be repealed.
