Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech.

That "THE" means the freedom of speech existed before the gment and congress doesn't have the authority to change it, it is arguably the most important word in the Bill of Rights.

Nah. This is just something people say when they are confused about rights.

They're an insurance policy to protect against total tyranny, however nobody is making the government abide by anything and they haven't for a long time. The very fact that you have to pay a tax in most states to carry a gun is absolute proof. Our nation has been operating as a 50% defacto marxist nation since the 1910's. The very reason we have federal income tax is because of the unity of bankers and marxists from that time period.

Most Americans have no clue how crucial the formation of the Federal Reserve in order to implement economic control over the American people. I’m not going to spew out a detailed diatribe against the Global Banking Cabal but the info is out there if you want to lift the vail on the rigged fractional reserve banking system and why the Banksters never lose.

Yes, because historically, only religious people enslave others!

You gave a specific example, and I gave a specific reply. Don't switch to generalities now that it doesn't suit your position.

I'm not speaking in generalities. I was simply pointing out your absurdity that slavery somehow found its roots in religion.

Sword, bow, or spear, the results would be the same. I'm not going to argue with you.

I’d be willing to bet that there would be a lot of equipment stolen that day as well.

Of course you were.

No, they wouldn't.

That's probably a good idea.

You're embarrassing yourself. Take a break, read up on St. Thomas Aquinas and John Lock then come back on here and apologize for your ignorance

No but the right to defend yourself is self evident and inalienable, is it not?

Nah. The military will have no problem killing whoever the chain of command orders them to kill. Plenty of historical evidence to support this.

The founders assumed we would keep arms for hunting, protection from bandits and repelling foreign invaders. Those twenty seven words are directed directly at keeping the government in check. Read the federalist papers and you'll see that maybe they gave us too much credit.

It's obvious you don't know where your rights come from. St. Thomas Aquinas explains better than anyone to me outside of John Locke. It's not necessary to be a Christian to believe that rights are natural.

Well, at least you got his name right this time.

When someone appeals to Locke without substance, it lets me know I don't have to take them seriously.

Link to anything I've said that contradicts this.
