Close. You don't have the right to infringe on another's rights.

But that’s not true though. The fed gov has declared war on its citizens via the WoD and NSA dragnet survellience. There’s no due process with CAF. NSA/CIA spying on everything you do. Someone wants to take a drug (used to be alcohol) in their pursuit of happiness and Uncle Sam not only says n but locks them up, takes away their freedom.
Those in charge are allowed to infringe on our rights every day. And the 2nd amendment isn’t coming to the rescue.

There's a pretty high bar for the 2A to come into the picture, defending the rights of citizens against the government. I don't think any of the instances you cite call for armed revolution, do you?

Civics should be the single most important subject taught in school!

Feel free to start a thread stating that defending your life and liberty isn't ordained by God. See how it goes.
I know exactly how it would go.
Explain why you think that would be important.

Good luck on finding enough libtard Americans in the OUR armed forces to do that. There would be massive desertion from any command that even insinuated such a travesty.
My guess would be yes if the money was right.

Well hell, if you have all the answers, why discuss it with the lesser people?
There is example after example in the bible of the use of the AR of the day.
And even if you reject the Creator that the founding fathers believed these rights came from, you can't possibly believe that they are a gift of the government, unless you also believe that it's perfectly fine for the government to take those same gifts away.

The US has the highest incarceration rates in the world. Our government actively spies on everything we do. If they want something that’s yours they use CAF and simply take it. When does the 2A come into the picture? You said defending the rights of citizens against the government, well where is it?

If you are ready to go, feel free to start the revolution, brother. I guess you'll know if it was the right move by the number of people who join you.

Heard a Chief Justice of the SP speak on this. Said the same thing.... our rights do not come from God and if we ever begin to believe that only God gives us these rights, we may as well hand our guns over.

But there is no natural right to survival and no right to be free from the tyranny of gun fanatics shooting up schools and other public places?
All rights, natural or otherwise, have boundaries.
All rights, natural or otherwise, have boundaries.

Well, I usually don't.

Link that.

Link to where I've said, or even implied this. The lack of belief that your wizard in the sky enables my rights is not equal to believing that the government fills in.

You are missing the gist of the article. If our rights aren't Unalienable, and only granted to us by the government, then the government can take them away.
Do you think it was right that African Americans were deemed less than men and used for slaves simply because the government deemed it so?

Yes, because historically, only religious people enslave others!

It's Jeauxbleaux's contention that our founders were gun nuts.
I love the left opening their stupid mouths and illustrating how much they actually oppose the founding principles of our nation and its creators. I'll happily be in the contemporary political party that is associated with the architects of Constitution while the left continually seeks to distance themselves from them.

Logically there is no chance the entire military agrees to fire missiles on citizens. Sweet argument though bruh.

If you were even remotely intellectually honest, you'd go after handguns. I guess inner city blacks and suicide victims aren't too high on your list of people you like though :/
