No, I didn't watch his confirmation hearing. But a quick YouTube search shows he said in the hearing that it is torture.

Yes he did say that. When pushed for definitions he eventually conceded it was not torture.....and then went back to calling it torture the next day.

As long as the "terrorists" are non-American citizens.
Any Americans being detained whether within our borders or not are protected under the condtitution.
