To understand how public schools have been used to brainwash, read this book.
If you can, I highly recommend that you enroll your kids in a Classical Christian School:

Done. They go two full days a week. Homeschool component for rest.
My rising first grader is reading at what has to be high school graduate level in Baltimore. Probably better. And I’m not exaggerating.
The lower school (through 5th grade) recited the entirety of Romans 8 (the older kids carried most of it but still) at a year-end program.
Just an example.
Another: we were eating hotdogs at Costco the other day and he goes, “Dad, do you know what a three-consonant blend is?” I literally scratched my head, while he answered himself, “Like ‘str.’ strong, string, strung.”
Ok ok know it all.

It was only in the past few years have I understood how I may have saved my children from a lifetime of social justice militantism or liberal looney perspectives. Thank God that we made that decision.

Glad to hear it! I was sent away to a snobby New England prep school that is frequently ranked #1 among high schools.
My church in West Monroe hosts a Classical Christian School. The Classical Christian students are MUCH better educated than I was.

Amen! I admit to the sin of jealousy regarding the education our Classical Christian School students receive.
