There is only one party. Half of it call themselves dems and the are full blown communist.
The other half call themselves Republicans and they are there to fool normal people into thinking that they have a voice on their side in govt.
Just different jobs on the same team.

And thus Trump should and must be acquitted of all charges.
The trial has nothing to do with a contested election.
I see nothing wrong with Graham's statement and that is Trump's legal team should focus on.
Pretty much the entire trial will be about how “Trump lied about voter fraud” and this is just being pushed because how dare anyone try and say the election was stolen after what happened at the capitol
Typical republican response is just to bend over and take that and not push back on it
I can assure you any witness that is called the first question that they will ask is “was the election fraudulent”

This where Trump would get into trouble since none of the "evidence" can withstand even a little scrutiny. That's was the conclusion of Trump's top election security official, his AG, his White House counsel, a ton of his judges and pretty much anyone else who gave it due consideration. Graham is hoping to save Trump from the embarrassment of having his nonsense claims shredded. I'd love to see the claims adjudicated. Bring on the Krakens.

Part of me sees this as a layup for Trump. He should take the easy win and then move on to fight the fraud after scoring another YUGE victory in the Dems face.
I get that.
But also, if it's such a layup, why not fight the good fight on the big stage, and let the world see there was overt fraud ? Why not take it on during the fake impeachment?
Because Trump doesn't do things the easy way, not when he can win big at the same time.
Problem is, he's playing a game of poker which the house has rigged against him. Take the small pile of chips and just go home, or throw it all in and hope to win the big pot?
Even now, I don't think he understands how deep this swamp is. If he has any desire to win back the White House, take the W, rub it in their faces, and come back to fight another day.
