So you’re fine with them being political pawns for the left but not the right.

Your sanctimony is noted. Please drive through.

Democrats always appeal to morality when it suits them don’t they? And even more when they can’t form an actual argument.

Funny how they don’t accept a moral excuse when it comes their way though huh.

It’s hilarious. Libs need to suffer the consequences of their actions.

And why should "processing them" all fall on Texas or the other border states, when they don't want this open border and actively oppose it? Why should Texas have to "process" them and release them into their state when the federal government ties their hands when it comes to protecting their own states' border with Mexico?

This is the definition of "not in my backyard" behavior. You're all for biblical verses and compassion for illegal immigrants until it's dropped in your lap. As long as someone else has to deal with them it's real easy to feign compassion, right?

Dropping them off there is no different than them arriving in Texas. They have to be "processed" and released no matter where they arrive, why not spread them around? Why should Texas have to be the sole receiver when they don't even want this?

Your fake morality only proves the point of bussing them to Democrat areas even further. You've literally proven Abbot's point for him.

I'm not seeing anything to support these statistics and I'm shocked.

Because they are the sole receiver? What sense does it make to spend taxpayer money to put these people on a bus, drive them hundreds or thousands of miles just to make a political point and make their lives more miserable than it already is.

so he has no other choice than to put them on a bus and send them to a political rival's territory? politics for the sake of politics. you guys used to be against that until you lost your moral compass.

I didn’t say that. I said he can’t process them or send them back. So you’re asking him to do something he is not allowed to do.

There is a strategy at work here that is more than just grandstanding. It’s easy for Massachusetts to be all in supporting illegal immigration when they do not bear the social cost of it.

Immigration agencies in TX can absolutely do something other than send migrants on to busses to a political rival's state / territory. The Governor should know that - you're being disingenuous.

Why do you expect Texas and the southeast to continue to take the brunt of illegals?

What is sickening is the left wanting to flood the country 20 million with illegals and expect Texas to happily absorb it.

What they cannot do (and what you advocated for him to do) is “process them or send them back.”

You’ve reached bedrock. You can stop digging.
