Oh so then he compromised his principles on certain things in order to achieve something else, and perhaps you’re saying that the cost/benefit analysis convinced him that this was the right decision? Because normally y’all are all or nothing on that issue, you’re either principled or you’re not; compromise is a sign of weakness and possibly even being compromised him or herself. So how do you reconcile those discrepancies?

That is his problem, voting no on everything is easy, IMO. TAKES NO COURAGE.
