We have to stop over-protecting people simply because they're not 18...arbitrary age...she is not an 8 year-old. She's a teenager and basically an adult...she can have kids, get a job, marry and if she's (probably) 17-18, join the military.

Let me guess, the victim is white and the perp is black? This is the victim mentality that gets perpetuated and they will use the race card. The truth of the matter is, that is how an animal acts. An animal acts viscously without emotion.
