There are over 900,000 registered republicans in Louisiana, how many are MAGA and how many are establishment idk it is hard to say right now. Abraham needs them all so again if it comes down to Abraham versus JBE, establishment republican is better than "conservative democrat"

You’re assuming Comrade Honor Code doesn’t self-destruct. Unlike last time, Honor Code has to run this time.

Are you serious? Plenty more people know of Ralph Abraham than Eddie Rispone. I doubt more than a few thousand people know who Eddie Rispone is.

His district actually dips down in to Avoyelles Parish so his name goes deeper into South Louisiana than one might think. I believe he has a strong chance to be our next governor.

Eddie has more money to get his name out there and is more known around BR area and Lake Charles because ISC is a huge company that employs a shite ton of people.

He’s got a less than a year to try and get enough publicity to beat an incumbent governor. Not happening. If anyone beats JBE, it’ll be a politician

I’m not talking about beating JBE, I’m talking about making a runoff over Ralph and the field.

So you are saying you are tired of R frauds but you said you voted for JBE over Vitter, and would vote for JBE over Rispone, so im wondering who is the R that is the fraud? Are you a registered R or just vote R? Because as I have mentioned almost all of the registered republicans that live in Louisiana know who the republican congressional delegation is not just from their districts.

For those that think Honor Code is inevitable, read up on Dave Treen.

Mr. Eddie is not a congressman so when you said Abraham does not have name recognition I disagree. I know you are for whoever can beat JBE as am I, I do not think Rispone is in any way the DJT mold of a businessman turned politician nor the self-promoter. I am would be extremely happy if these were the only two that were running out of the R field because they are both extremely loyal and good people that would not hurt the other in the jungle simply if they lose and not make it personal. I worry about certain State reps and state sens that are considering running and just leave it at that.

Got a first hand glimpse into his( Rispone) power and influence over legislators during the early Jindal Ed reform years

What are your problems with Rispone as related to education? Rispone has been instrumental in spearheading efforts to increase cooperation between industry and community colleges for trade school education as well as helping get more programs that allow high school students to take courses at community colleges for college credit. Is your issue related to his support of the charter school system or his push to reform high school curriculum to better prepare students to join the work force?

Registered R and yes I would vote for JBE over Rispone.

Then you cannot claim to be tired of "frauds" within the R party while being openly and proud of being a fraud yourself. Is public education working right now in LA? Is it doing better under JBE or getting worse, data says one thing I am curious to hear your opinion on that. So if your biggest bone of contention with Rispone is/was his influence and stance on education which is vastly different than the current model. If you are happy with the way things are going then continue to vote for JBE which no matter who the R candidate is I am sure you will.

taxpayers already fund schools

Why shouldn't those schools teach things employers actually want students to know?

People wouldn’t need private education if the public system wasn’t such a massive shite show. While I think the results show Jindal’s education reforms have not been particularly successful, I at least credit them for trying something different. The pre-Jindal era system was not working either.
