So, if Sanford was so good, why didn't Trump endorse Him?
Let this be a lesson to the Republicans who think it's a time for the 'McCain' renegade version. Every vote counts big; the Dems vote/march lock-step. The window for major reform may be small and closing, and there is zero time for *principled* grandstanding. The Military functions with great efficiency because strategy/orders come from the top down.
Good riddance to Sanford and remaining Politicos whose *principled* stands throw a wrench in the Trump Reform Strategy. The Wall, at the fore.

Sanford was the closest thing to Rand Paul in SC politics. The problem with him is that he has always come off as a jerk and rubbed people the wrong way. Rand and Trump have disagreements, but Rand doesn't make them personal.

Not much, BUT...when your party has a vote and it's close, especially in a campaign promise of the elected president, at some point you can well better fall in line and stop being a contrarian. His constituents voted for trump, and its damn fricking clear what trump campaigned on....and this clown voted against the wall. For what?
