Is he not trying to persuade these players to join the rest of the country and respect the anthem and the flag and what they symbolize?

for me it's really more about the entitlement many have over thinking they get to decide for someone else when an appropriate time and place to protest is.

at least you know its stupid and they look stupid doing it

Its not the place for protest. Any sane person knows this

Look at you. You have a fricking hardon at the notion that American citizens might be upset that other citizens flout their hatred of their country in their faces.

You're WINNING for sure.

Pretty sure that flag stands for not only the right but the responsibility to do exactly what the players are doing when they feel it’s necessary.

Maybe you would feel more comfortable in Russia

I'm all for letting them keep on doing just as they are but lets not forget that they are first entertainers and if the people that really pay the bills get tired enough of it there will be a final resolution to this situation.
I do however find it disingenuous that you lefty's advocate for silencing the opposition while hailing the players as hero's standing up for their rights. both sides have the exact same right to express their beliefs, though your side is wrong in this as usual.
if I am paying you to provide a service for me why should I need to know you political positions or be subjected to your temper tantrums. for example if i were to go to the circus expecting the greatest show earth only to have to endure the "clowns" hold a peta protest before the show can begin would it be ok to be upset?

You also left out the part where he was a convicted felon who shouldn’t have had a gun. Not to mention the part where he was threatening people with that gun while selling “cds,” aka dope, which is why the police showed up to begin with,

You also failed to list the charges brought against the officers...

So BRPD fired one of them for “policy” violations- aka talking too tough. Nobody doubted this would happen- BR elected officials were making public demands for it. The Police Chief did as he was told.

Which brings us back to my point that it was a justified shooting. Sterlings behavior, and sterlings behavior alone, caused Sterlings death. That’s a fact.

Again, the cases they choose to “protest” about are not cases of “social injustice”- in fact, they’re just the opposite. JUSTIFIED.

Do you know if Kaep or Reid have posted on social media or made public statements about any of these cases? If not, why? These are the “innocent minorities” being slaughtered that they claim to be “voices” for. Yet, they’re silent.

If they really care then why not spend time and money towards fixing the issue ? Why not play a pick up game and have it on TV . All the money made can go to help the cause . Why not pay for a Commercial to play during the games and have players in the commercials talking about the issue . There is so many ways they could make a bigger difference but they don’t care about the cause . It’s all about showing up Trump .

I take great comfort in your response here and how badly you miss the boat on what I'm getting at. Keep telling yourself that perception is meaningless, or better yet keep denigrating HARD those who you think their perception is meaningless.

It's a clear path to VICTORY.

Id rather him tweet about a public school system in Georgia no longer saying the pledge in the morning. I could give a frick if the NFL players kneel before a game.
